Setting off first thing, well, as first thing as The Beynons do, about 11 am, we head for Ouarzazate before stopping for lunch. It's a 3 hour journey in the midday sun, hot. As we head for the Tizi n Tichka, the road veers north and gets higher, so we get cooler and closer to our destination, Marrakech. It's another 4 hours driving over the top and finally we arrive at the campsite around 7.30 pm. A long day on the road but worth it because we have 2 nights here now and with a swimming pool, beautiful gardens and lots of sunshine, we have another mini holiday Le Relais de Marrakech.

It's very hot ! So the pool is a very pleasant place to spend our time, swimming, lazing in the shade.
Time to absorb the adventures we've had over the past two weeks as time has brought us once more the the end of one thing and the beginning of another. Time?
Time for a kiss!
Time for a chat about Jaimie's hair style? ' I can't do anything with it Mum? '
' Bit of Argan oil might help ' says Mum
' Do you think so? '
' I'm not saying anything ' says Storm ' I just think you are very beautiful. Nuff said, so can I get on with reading my book on South America, the next adventure has been spurred on by this one. '
Warm isn't it! I'll keep out of hair do conversations, I'm bound to say the wrong thing. Always do.
Think I'll have another swim, and it's still only mid April !!!
The pool is beautiful and makes up for any other shortcomings this large french run campsite has to offer. It caters for all and being half term in Europe, lots of screaming, splashing kids are here too!! Bless their cotton socks.
What are you doing Storm?
' Never mind what I'm doing, what are you doing? '
Lying in the shade? Keeping my feet to themselves, no touching!! Too hot.
Tired children leave us to tranquil late evening shade as the last night together draws to a close. It has been a fantastic time together, 2 weeks wandering the southern desert of Morocco, having picnics in the middle of nowhere, literally! Swimming in desert pools on the edge of sand dunes. Wandering through oasis shade and many fine meals at dusk, listening to the birdsong and frog holler ? The call to prayer echoing from morning to night, the little motor bikes we call them as they work up a head of steam to release that Allah Akbar! All brings us to our last supper!
Jaimie and Storm have cooked passionately throughout this trip and they make a vege tajine to be proud of for our evening supper. Jaimie is a nutritionist for health these days, and is keeping herself in great shape with her most interesting and varied diet. Storm is a staunch supporter and looks so well for it. They have plans for the future and need to be on top form to carry them out. We think you will make them happen, no problem.
They are also very proud of their culinary skills, and so they should be. What a feast, what a send off for us old timers. Cooked with love, eaten with joy.

We are blessed with two beautiful young ones to share our crazy Moroccan trip 2014. They have been great fun and with their understanding that sometimes, just being still is as good as it gets. It got better.!!! Mmm, Wisdom in youth?
Because being is, the best.
Thank you Jaimie.
Thank you Storm.
We love you so much.
We put them on their plane in time the next day and swiftly leave them to it, as goodbyes are sometimes best left till the next time, or the next. We'll see you soon lovely Jaimie n Storm.
