Agdz and the weather is warm and sunny.
We camp for one night only as we want to get on to unknown places. We stopped here last year with Jaimie and Storm, on our way to M'Hamid. We have a different destination this year, first stop will be at Nekob but first, to the bank and the silly old fool forgot to get dressed, talk about a tourist! Put some clothes on!!

We set off along the Draa valley but soon turn off to the left for an untravelled road to Rissani and Merzouga. But our first port of call, not appropriate to use that phrase really, I should say our first desert stopover is at Nekob and the terrain quickly becomes arid, dry and very warm. In fact, boiling. So we are very glad to make good time and get to the shade of a lovely campsite, which would you believe, has a swimming pool!! No we're talking, let's go swim!!

It's a bit odd! Out in the middle of the hamada, dry as dust and playing the fools in a beautiful swimming pool all to ourselves.
Nekob, a jewel in the desert. A dream in the heat. A pleasure to be here, with our loved ones.
A real treat.
It also happens to be Souk day on Saturday. Which is lucky, because that's today, so off we trek, not far, to a very regional Berber market. As always, everyone is friendly and we have a lot of fun chatting to people selling their produce. Apples, oranges, vegetables of all types, no shortage of good food here. It's just rather hot!!! So we do the shopping and head back to the pool for more of the same.

No photo's please, you'll take the soul out of my potatoes!!
The Three Beynons, we've been through a lot together. We are living life, the best that we can.
We're doing alright.
Hope you are too.
